Leaping the Competition
Wholesale Building Products was founded in 2005, stemming from the growing export division of a local South Florida distributor of building materials established in 1981. Our mission is to become an extension of our customers’ operations by stocking key building products, lumber, and plywood, helping them manage both inventory and cash flow. We recognize the unique challenges of running an island business, and our expertise in consolidation, container and flat rack loading, and processing proper documentation makes us a reliable partner in the export industry.
We operate from two strategically located facilities: our main office in Hollywood, conveniently near Port Everglades, the Port of Miami, and the Port of Palm Beach, and our second location in Jacksonville, where we receive and stock most of our lumber. From Jacksonville, we can directly load and ship through the ports of Jacksonville and Fernandina Beach.
