Wholesale Building Products was created in 2005 from the growing export division of a local South Florida distributor of building materials established in 1981. Our goal is to be an extension of our customers’ operations and stock key building products, lumber and plywood to help them manage their inventory and cash flow. We understand the challenge of operating an island business, exporting requires extensive knowledge of consolidation, loading of containers & flat rack, and the processing the proper documentation.

We operate out of two locations, the main office is in Hollywood, with convenient proximity to Port Everglades, the Port of Miami and the Port of Palm Beach. The second location is in Jacksonville where we strategically receive and stock most of our lumber and where we can load and ship directly through the ports of Jacksonville and Fernandina Beach.
